VISION STATEMENT
Lachut Electrical Sales, Inc. operates as a Manufacturers' Representative
Agency within Upstate New York distinguishing ourselves by focusing
our efforts on the end-user to and for the benefit of our manufacturers
and our employees.
LACHUT ELECTRICAL SALES, INC.
Lachut Electrical Sales, Inc. was started by Ron Lachut as a non-stocking manufacturers' representative in January of 1980. The sole manufacturer represented at this time was Gould Shawmut Fuses. As quality manufacturers and salesmen were added, the agency has grown to provide local sales offices and coverage of the Buffalo Area, Rochester Area, Syracuse Area and Albany Area.

Headquarters
Our 2800 square feet office is located at 318 South Main Street in North Syracuse,
NY 13212.

All employees have an email address and internet access. Our current computer system incorporates a WindowsNT based LAN utilizing
PC work stations with a file server. Day to day business is accomplished using Microsoft Office 2000, which includes Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
Salesmen are equipped with high-end lap top computers.
Our Market
Lachut Electrical Sales, Inc. marketing strategy is to focus our primary efforts at the specification influences in the Industrial and Commercial markets. This is accomplished with joint distributor effort and direct sales calls by our sales force.

Ron's experience includes selling electrical distribution equipment with I-T-E (now Siemens Corporation) in 1971 in Memphis, TN. Ron relocated to Syracuse in 1974 with GE Supply Company as the contractor salesman. In 1976, began working directly for Bussmann Fuse Company covering Central New York and was eventually promoted to Upstate New York Area Manager before resigning in 1980.
Incorporated in 1980 as Lachut Electrical Sales, Inc. with Gould Shawmut as our first and current manufacturer represented. We have now expanded to employ a total of four salesmen strategically located throughout Upstate New York

Kent's experience includes project design in both instrumentation and mechanical engineering at Union Carbide from 1975-1980. Promoted to Sales Engineer covering the Northeastern United States and Southern Canada from 1981-1983 selling system engineered products.
Started with Lachut Electrical Sales, Inc. in 1984 covering Western New York State from Niagara Falls South to the Pennsylvania State Line.

Mike's experience includes participation in the GE Supply - Technical and Marketing Training Program. The assignments were located in Rochester, NY and Schenectady, NY. His responsibilities included sales into the GE Gas Turbine and Large Motor Divisions. In March 1984, awarded the GE Quality Maker Award.
The territory assignment with Lachut Electrical Sales, Inc. includes servicing the diverse customer base in Eastern NY State, including pulp and paper, power generation, computer manufacturers and NY State design and engineering agencies.
